Yes, I am just getting around to posting our wedding pictures. Life has been busy. Really busy. But that's another story. I figured in honor of our upcoming anniversary, a wedding post would be appropriate. I loved how our wedding turned out, and I LOVE our pictures. I tried to post them in order. I know it's a picture overload, but it was this or posting all 900! I figured I would choose my favorites. I listed our vendor's below.

...sappy...
Last night I went to a bridal shower for Nic's younger sister, Sydnee. For those of you who don't know, I met Nic through Sydnee. When I was teaching for the Esthetics program at Taylor Andrews, Sydnee was one of my students. Anyways, as I sat there listening to her tell stories of her and Rob and "their story", I was remembering the story of Nic and I. Our first anniversary is next month, so I thought it might be a good time to share "our story". Like I said before, Sydnee was a student of mine. I was previously engaged, and for the year that I was engaged I didn't plan a single detail. I always had this gut feeling that something was off. It just never felt right from the minute I said yes. At first, I thought it was nerves. So I decided to give it some time. It only got worse over the year, and about the end of Novemeber I decided I needed to end it. A couple weeks later I was scrolling through pictures on Facebook and I was looking through Sydnee's pictures. I came across some pictures with Nic in them, and I thought hmmm. He is pretty cute. So the next day at work I asked Syd why I didn't know that she had such a hot brother. She replied, he is single! You guys should go out! I replied that I was a train wreck and shouldn't be set up with anyone right now. That was that, no more about the subject. Nic had been mentioning to Syd that he needed some new girls to date. (He was dating 2 girls when I met him) He asked Syd if she knew of anyone he could go out with, and she told him that I was the only one she would set him up with. So she came back to school saying, Nic thinks you are cute and wants to take you out! If anyone knows me at all, I HATE dating! HATE it! I get so nervous on dates! I went home that night and commented on a picture of Sydnee's that Nic was tagged in, knowing that he would be sent a notification of my comment. From there, he wrote me a message on Facebook saying that we should go out sometime and he left his number in the message. I decided to put his number in my phone, but I waited a day or two to text him. Once I did, it was non stop texting from there. Like everyday, all day. He completely blew off the two girls he had been dating the minute we started texting. He kept saying he wanted to take me out, but I was so nervous I wasn't sure that I could do it. We finally set plans for a Saturday, and that whole week I kept thinking up ways I could try to get out of it. Not because I didn't want to go, but because we had been having so much fun texting I didn't want us to go out and not like each other. Anyways, the Thursday before our date, Nic stopped into the school to have Syd give him a micro. I hid out in the bathroom for a good 30 min, while Nic sat in my chair at my desk in my classroom! All the girls in the school kept telling me to go in and meet him, and that he was SO hot! It was making me so nervous. I finally went in, acted like I was 10. I could barely look at him. I was blushing and kept putting my head on my desk and just laughing. He left the room to get his micro done, so I tried to pull myself together. (I was working the night shift so I wasn't off until 10, and I needed to grab a few things from Target after work to give to my co-workers for Christmas.) After Nic's micro, he came back into the classroom and hung out for about an hour until school was over. He asked if I wanted to come over and watch a movie and I told him I needed to run to Target to grab a few things. Nic invited himself to come tag along. I left my car at the school and Nic drove us to Target. We were flirting like we were in Jr. High.. randomly bumping into each other down the isles and laughing like crazy. I kept thinking he was laughing so loud! After Target we went to watch a movie. Hangover to be exact. Although I didn't hear one word because we talked and laughed the whole time. We told funny stories. Stories about high school, college (we both went to Dixie), crazy ex stories.. etc. My neck was so kinked because we were sitting right next to each other on the couch with our heads cranked to look at each other while telling stories. My cheeks hurt from laughing so much. In my head I kept thinking he had the most perfect lips, and I just wanted to kiss him so bad. I knew we had been talking for hours, and I thought it was going really good... why hadn't we kissed yet?? ha ha. But really I just wanted to kiss so bad. I have never wanted to kiss anyone so bad in my life. We did end up kissing, hooray! Best first kiss of my life! I decided I needed to look at my phone because I knew it was getting late and I needed to be to work at 8 the next morning. Oh don't worry, it was only 5:30 am!! Nic took me back to my car which was at the school (in Layton) I had to drive home (South Salt Lake) shower, get ready, and turn right back around to go to work! I didn't sleep for 1 second! I was so tired that whole next day, but it was so worth it. I had so much fun, and I knew my life was about to change! (cheesy enough for you guys?) From then on out we have been inseparable. It was funny cause we had both told each other we weren't looking for anything serious, & after 2 weeks I knew I never wanted to be without him. We both came from such crazy relationships that we were so thankful for one another and we always treated each other with respect and love. As I look back now on the (almost) 2 years we have been together, it's hard to believe all we have been through and all the trials we have overcome together. I'm sure you could say we did a lot of things backwards. But it was the path we needed to be on to lead us to where we are now. We have a great marriage and a cute little family. We are thankful for the friends and family who have supported us and our decisions. We can't wait to make more memories, and one more little Evan's baby :)

Invitation Details...
Next month Quinn is turning 7. He requested a fishing party at our house. I have been finding some really cute idea's for decorations on Pinterest. I couldn't find anything I loved for an invitation, so I decided to come up with something on my own. I know this seems early, but we will be in Jamaica the last week in October so I wanted to get started early, that way everything wasn't last minute. I was really excited with how the invitations turned out. I made mini fishing poles with fishing line and a fly. The fishing pole is inside the box with a label on the outside "Take the bait, say you'll come and celebrate!!" Kind of cheesy, but hey, it's fishing themed! I can't wait for the party, I think it will turn out really cute!
